Forward driving profiles and reduced backhand pressure mean slight wind variations go unnoticed. The sail does the work; you focus on sailing. The 026 Blade has been rebuilt from the ground up to increase power and integrate the latest development concepts: XR Xtended Range: Developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends. Deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability. Fat Head: Originally developed for the S-1, the increased head roach opens further under load, improving high-end control and wind range. Smaller sizes have relatively fatter heads whilst bigger sizes balance the head size for better aero efficiency. DirectConnect: A system of directly connecting the load points of the sail to any hardware – masts, battens and boom. Zero lag means the sail reacts instantly to rider input. CarbonFusion Trickle-Down: The BladePro construction is trickling down into the Blade, with welded foot panels and carbon load transfer strips in the head and tack. Severne Convert V2 Windsurfing Rig Pack – Red
The Convert is a fully-featured freeride sail at an entry-level price.
An obvious choice for any progressing windsurfer, the Convert is purpose built to be easy to use. Weight is kept to a minimum, boom lengths are short and downhaul tensions are reduced for easier rigging and nice, soft handling characteristics.
The Convert is packed with features including dropped clew for shorter, more manageable boom lengths. The shaping and geometry are set up for a balanced, stable feel and a forward pulling drive for a relaxed, easy stance.
The new redesigned Convert V2 features an all monofilm construction and new size range from 5m to 7.5m.

2023 Severne S-1 Windsurfing Sail – Anthracite
S-1Â _MANOEUVRE ORIENTED WAVE
The new S-1 is built on the exact same pattern as the S-1 Pro but uses VX2 and eM3Â laminate materials to reduce cost with only 150g added weight*.
The GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY logically reduces weight, increases strength and controls stretch. Overall weight is reduced but the more significant improvement is the feel – quicker reacting and lighter feel.
Rather than a single curved luff panel, the S-1 uses separate panels that radiate out of the head and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of load. Previously the curved panel would have bias stretch in all the wrong places. Direct transmission of power. Increased longevity.
The boom length has been shortened on bigger sizes (4.8 and up) to reduce the back-hand pressure that builds up as the wind increases. Instead, the power has been shifted up in the sail giving more leverage to accelerate instantly in light winds.
